The Application Engineer is responsible for preparing quotations for all types of inquiries (budget to purchase phase) and ensure on-time submittal and responses. The Application Engineer is the primary contact for customers at sales stage working in collaboration with the local Sales Manager.

• Prepare technical selection and scope of supply in line with customer’s technical requirements. • Review project specifications and prepare deviations list, as well as attend and / or respond to technical clarifications requests from the customer. • Prepare costs and quotation (price and delivery) based on the performed technical selections and technical clarifications. • Work with other departments and suppliers to address any quotation specific requirements. • Assist with AE tools development. • Domestic and foreign travel to meet with customers.

• English language proficiency is required. • Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities in fast-paced environment. • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills. • Experience in rotating equipment / centrifugal pumps is preferred. • Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective. • MS Office proficiency • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required • 3 to 5+ years’ professional experience is required

• Experience w/ 3D CAD software, SOLIDWORKS preferred. • Experience w/ ERP system preferred. • Specific industry experience is strongly preferred
