Field Application Engineer for Power Electronics

• Secure design-in / win for industrial power semiconductor by working with Sales, Marketing and System/Product Application Engineer • Provide extensive technical support, and engages internal experts for second level support when needed, to ensure satisfactory closure of technical issue at customer • Providing technical support and expertise to customers, assisting with product selection, resolving technical issues, and developing new business opportunities • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and requirements • Work effectively with internal teams, such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction and business success • Conduct training programs for customers on Infineon product usage and application • Strong understanding of key customers application trends and product roadmap, support Infineon product roadmap definition to fit • Ability to create technical documentation, applications notes, and training materials

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering • 3 - 10 years of work experience as power electronics design engineer and / or power semiconductor applications engineer • Work experience in developing inverter-controlled home appliances, 3-phase motor drive, industrial power supplies, solar inverters applications • Strong understanding of power semiconductors including IPMs, IGBTs, WBG devices(SiC MOSFETs and GaN)and gate drivers • Strong understanding of power electronics fundamental including power conversion topologies, PCB Layout, simulation, and EMI • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Good command of English
