• Manages value optimization programs with multiple focus areas in cross-functional collaboration with functions, regions, and BU (business unit)’s • Leads regional VAVE (Value Assessment Value Engineering) projects with a core focus on sustainable cost reduction and improvements (Project Management) • Acts as a technical expert and partner of Purchasing and other functions (RD, Project Controlling, PM etc) for process and value optimization • Leads and executes VAVE activities (Workshops), standardizations, including analysis, and triggers improvements in other functions • Coaches and supports the countries in APAC in realizing their objectives in VAVE • Responsible for executing the VAVE process and for developing VAVE activities / ideas, including implementation along the product life cycle • Defines standards and processes and drives the development of regional VA/VE departments in alignment with the global team • Secures cross-regional and cross-functional training, knowledge, and know-how transfer (Best practice transfer)

• Education: University degree • Work experience: 10 - 15 years • Leadership experience / ability to manage different cultural group >20 people • Foreign language : English is must • Engineering, Finance, PMP certification is preferred • Vale Engineering / Cost Engineering • Program Manager/ Project (Cost reduction focus) • Technical Purchasing Manager
