The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL), Respiratory Pipeline, is a scientific expert who builds trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and clinical trial sites to support the development and delivery of innovative respiratory medicines. The MSL engages external experts across the development lifecycle of investigational assets by facilitating scientific exchange, gathering medical insights, supporting clinical trial execution, and contributing to evidence generation strategies. Through close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and external stakeholders, the MSL helps advance scientific understanding, improve patient outcomes, and support successful delivery of GSK's respiratory pipeline. A key focus of this role is to establish trusted scientific partnerships with clinical trial sites and investigators, supporting study activation, enrolment acceleration, and successful execution of GSK respiratory development programs.

주요업무

Scientific Engagement & Insight Generation Establish and maintain long-term scientific relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs), investigators, and healthcare professionals in respiratory medicine. Gather and communicate medical insights related to disease management, unmet patient needs, treatment paradigms, and competitive developments to inform medical and development strategies. Facilitate scientific exchange regarding respiratory disease biology, current and evolving treatment landscapes, clinical data, investigational assets, and ongoing clinical development programs. Capture and share insights that may contribute to clinical development planning, protocol optimization, and future evidence generation activities. Develop and execute strategic territory and scientific engagement plans, including identification, mapping, prioritization and engagement of key external experts, investigators and clinical trial sites. Clinical Trial Support Partner closely with Clinical Operations and study teams to support successful execution of respiratory clinical trials. Contribute to site identification, site engagement, study activation, and enrolment acceleration activities. Build trusted relationships with principal investigators, sub-investigators, study coordinators, and clinical research personnel. Support scientific discussions related to study design, trial conduct, and the evolving treatment landscape to enhance engagement with clinical trial sites. Help identify opportunities to improve site performance and patient recruitment through scientific engagement and insight generation. Provide structured medical insights and feedback to Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations colleagues to support clinical trial site engagement, study recruitment and site performance optimization. Medical Strategy & Evidence Generation Support implementation of respiratory medical strategies throughout the development lifecycle of pipeline assets. Foster collaborations with external stakeholders in research, clinical development, medical education, and evidence generation initiatives. Contribute to scientific discussions that support future launch readiness and patient access considerations. Congresses & Medical Activities Participate in congresses, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and other medical activities as appropriate. Gather scientific insights during congresses and external engagements. Support planning and execution of medical education and scientific exchange activities. Medical Information & Compliance Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in a fair, balanced, and scientifically appropriate manner. Communicate important safety information in line with company requirements and local regulations. Ensure full compliance with GSK standards, SOPs, applicable regulations, local codes, and ethical requirements.

자격 요건

Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or a related healthcare discipline preferred. Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MSc, MD, or equivalent) desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, clinical research, or medical affairs environment preferred. Experience in respiratory medicine, immunology, biologics, clinical development, or specialty care preferred. Experience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals, investigators, or external experts. Experience delivering scientific or medical presentations to external stakeholders. Understanding of clinical trial processes, evidence generation, and healthcare systems. Ability to assimilate and communicate complex scientific and clinical information effectively.
