Purpose of the position Service engineer is responsible for supporting customers for on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, PMI (Preventive Maintenance Inspection), and repair of BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) instruments. Additionally, he/she shall tweak consulting skills and improve customer satisfaction by proactively advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.

• Evolve local strategies to ensure a financial performance. • Develop PMI contracts for all field units. • Maintain current account of service contract. • Reproduce defective PCB and spare parts. • Install of BD instruments at customer site. • PMI (Preventive Maintenance Inspection) of BD Instruments at customer site. • Repair or troubleshoot of BD Instruments at customer site. • Conduct market intelligence activities and provide feedback to Sr. Service Manager. • Routinely visit and maintain a good relationship with key customers. • Cooperate closely with relevant divisions. • Process an emergence call accurately and quickly. • Submit all require reports on time. • Other work related duties/projects assigned by manager/leader.

• BS degree in Engineering (Bio-medical, Electronic, Mechanical and etc.) is required and 3~7 years of field service experience with hands on Life Sciences(IDS) instruments experience is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to perform hands on maintenance, installations and selected repairs on • Integrated Diagnostic Solution(IDS) instruments. • Strong customer relationship skill is needed • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English is required.

• Prior experience with Application programming skills related laboratory information system is highly preferred • Prior experience with Automated Robotic Track Systems in Microbiology Laboratories is highly preferred
