주요업무

Role Overview A rare opportunity to work with the global mobility tax director and the wider Coupang global mobility team to develop and build out the newly established Coupang global mobility tax function. The role will focus on building operational excellence and stakeholder management to support an expansive global mobility function that is both income tax and social security compliant in all its operating jurisdictions. The role will also entail the development of global mobility processes and case management. What You Will Do First line escalation point for mobility-tax related issues Development of strong relationships with Coupang’s tax advisors Supporting the setting up of Coupang’s mobility tax programme in new countries Supporting the development of global mobility tax processes and procedures (including, where appropriate, tax equalisation and tax protection, social security optimisation) Working with the Global Mobility/ Coupang payroll teams to support the compensation collation and reporting process; identifying opportunities to enhance/ simplify the process through automation and AI] Supporting the creation of standard process for tax assessments in relation to business travellers (in collaboration with the Coupang Global Business Traveller and Immigration teams), short term assignees and remote worker requests for audit-readiness purposes Working with the Coupang equity team to ensure that all tax/ social security withholdings and reporting are effectively managed

자격 요건

Basic Qualifications The candidate must be able to write and converse confidently in English given the global nature of the role. In addition, the candidate should have - A degree in accounting, finance or law and/or a relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Tax Adviser, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent - Extensive experience of global mobility taxation and international social security (minimum 8 years) either from working in practice and/ or as part of an inhouse team - Personal US tax experience involving cross border moves including the use of foreign earned income and housing exclusions, along with the use of foreign tax credits - Experience of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan tax systems is useful but not essential - Good knowledge of how equity plans operate, particularly in an international context

Document Return Policy This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. The above paragraphs 1 - 4 shall only apply when the labor-related laws of Korea govern the application. They are otherwise not applicable.
