This role is designed to drive strategic business growth across the healthcare ecosystem by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening external stakeholder engagement. Moving beyond a traditional SFE focus, this position will play a key role in shaping the external-facing strategy of the organization. The position requires strong analytical, strategic, and stakeholder management skills to support sustainable growth and market expansion in Korea.
Responsibilities :
Partnerships & New Business Development
• Proactively Identify potential partners who can deliver incremental revenue to Korea business, across the healthcare ecosystem (to include but not limited to pharma companies, health-tech players, labs, disease management clinics, wellness chains, etc)
• Drive alignment and shape strategies of potential partners through intense executive engagements to co-create mutual sustainable value, elevate conversation from transactional sales to win-win solutions
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive business plans, with regular partner and internal reviews.
• Proactively build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.
• Build deep executive level relationships with partners across a range of business functions, such as the C-suite, supply chain, health economics, Bio-med and quality committees.
• Engage and partner with a range of stakeholders beyond contracting, to develop solutions/services structured to accelerate business growth.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including India & area leadership team, global BD team, global legal, global product management, country customer service, legal, quality etc. as required
• Anticipate risks and changing market conditions; define, and execute mitigation plans to ensure commitments are met.
• Create business cases to support new market entries, product introductions & to accelerate growth.
External Engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and academic institutions.
• Represent the company at external forums, conferences, and working groups.
• Provide insights on policy changes, market trends, and stakeholder expectations.
• Prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and commercial potential.
• Utilize CRM and BD tools to track progress and report outcomes.
• Collaborate with regional chambers of commerce and trade organizations to identify emerging opportunities.
• Establish thought leadership by contributing to white papers, policy briefs, and industry publications.
• Coordinate with public affairs teams to align messaging and advocacy efforts.
• Engage with innovation hubs and startup ecosystems to explore co-development opportunities.
• Facilitate stakeholder roundtables and advisory boards to gather insights and foster alignment.
