1. Digital Transformation Leadership
• Drive digital transformation strategy, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement areas and propose innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Champion value realization of global and regional IT services by measuring impact, communicating benefits, and ensuring adoption across business units.
2. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary IT Business Partner, building strong relationships with local leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders.
• Lead business engagement efforts, proactively identifying and understanding business needs, strategic priorities, and operational challenges.
• Own the intake and translation of business requirements into actionable IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with both local objectives and global IT standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the business, facilitating issue resolution and driving continuous improvement through technology.
• Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to represent local requirements in enterprise-wide projects, ensuring local relevance while adhering to global frameworks.
• Drive change management initiatives related to new IT system deployments, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
3. Application Management
• Manage the full lifecycle of local applications, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain application performance, availability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize application functionality.
• Ensure compliance with Korean cybersecurity standards for application-related servers.
4. Team Leadership
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and conduct performance evaluations to foster professional growth within the team.
5. Business Analysis and Solution Design
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for digitalization.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs for system enhancements.
• Coordinate with regional or global teams/vendors for successful implementation of system enhancements.
6. Project Management
• Oversee global projects related to IT, ensuring timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
• Define project scope, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress towards project goals.
7. Vendor Management
• Collaborate with external vendors for effective support, maintenance, licensing or procurement of IT systems.
8. Documentation and Reporting
• Create/maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
