1. Demand Forecasting & Planning
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
- Utilize statistical models and forecasting tools to predict demand fluctuations.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotions, market events, and competitor activities into forecasts.
2. Sales & Order Management
- Manage process of customer order intake, lead communication of estimated shipment readiness with customers, and plan to meet their required delivery date. Monitor pending orders and develop strategies for maximizing demands and sales within limited production capacity.
- Consolidate order demand, sales outlook, and backorders (due to production capacity) into a single demand plan.
- Track and analyze order fulfillment performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support sales teams with insights on product availability and lead times.
- Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze demand patterns, customer behavior, and seasonality trends to improve forecast accuracy.
- Provide regular reports on demand planning KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, fill rates, and aged stock levels by utilizing power BI and enhancing visualization.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the market to support business decision-making.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with commercial, production, logistics, procurement, and finance teams to align demand plans with overall business strategy.
- Communicate demand planning insights and recommendations to management.
- Support new product launches and phase-outs with demand planning insights.
