• Draft, review, negotiate, and execute a variety of B2B commercial agreements with Netflix’s business development partners, independently for routine matters and under the supervision of another counsel for more complex or strategic deals.
• Support transactions involving membership bundles, device partnerships, and other distribution-related initiatives with telcos, consumer electronics companies, and other technology partners.
• Advise on legal issues arising from product integration with partners, partner marketing activities, and regulatory compliance matters, to ensure smooth and speedy execution of partnership initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks to promote efficiency, consistency, and help enable faster and innovative deal-making as the business scales.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to knowledge management efforts related to ongoing and completed partnership transactions, including tracking deal structures, key risks, and evolving market practices.
• Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as Business Development, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice that supports deal execution.
• Assist in training and educating internal stakeholders on legal best practices, contractual fundamentals, and common issues encountered in B2B commercial transactions.
