자격 요건
The successful candidate will have 15+ years of relevant legal experience, either in-house and/or at a leading law firm, with substantial exposure to regulatory compliance, litigation, and corporate legal matters in Korea, ideally within the media, entertainment, technology, or similarly regulated industries. The candidate must have demonstrated experience engaging with regulatory authorities, government bodies, and the judiciary in Korea.
The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English, as well as the ability to clearly translate complex legal issues into practical, business-oriented guidance for senior stakeholders. Given the highly cross-functional nature of the role, strong collaboration, influence, and interpersonal skills are essential.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate the following:
• Deep expertise in Korean regulatory compliance and litigation management within the context of media/technology/entertainment industries, and active bar membership in good standing in Korea.
• Ability to think commercially and pragmatically, providing clear, solution-oriented advice in a fast-paced, innovative, and often ambiguous environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, including business executives, regulators, and outside counsel, while navigating fast-evolving and cutting-edge legal issues.
• Strategic mindset and leadership capability, including experience leading, mentoring, and developing other lawyers, and influencing outcomes without relying on hierarchy.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take on matters outside one’s core area of expertise, with the confidence to learn quickly and adapt.
• Flexibility to collaborate across time zones and work closely with regional and global legal teams.
