Key Responsibilities
- Lean Implementation & Strategy
: Develop and deploy a comprehensive lean manufacturing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
: Champion lean principles across all levels of the manufacturing facility, setting clear expectations and providing guidance on methodologies such as value stream mapping, 5S, standard work, and visual management.
: Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and eliminating sources of inefficiency and waste.
- Process Improvement & Optimization
: Conduct thorough analyses of existing workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
: Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to generate actionable solutions.
: Implement standardized work instructions, ensuring consistent quality and repeatable outcomes.
: Monitor / Create key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and validate the success of improvement initiatives.
- Training & Coaching
: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding of lean concepts and tools.
: Mentor Supervisors, Process Engineers, Line leads, and Operators in best practices for process improvement.
: Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and proactive problem-solving.
- Project Management
: Manage multiple lean projects (A3’s) simultaneously, establishing clear timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
: Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production departments to integrate lean initiatives into overall operational plans.
: Report on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
: Collaborate with the quality team to ensure that lean improvements do not compromise product integrity or compliance.
: Support audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining robust documentation and evidence of lean activities.
- Change Management & Communication
: Act as a change agent, communicating the vision and benefits of lean transformation throughout the organization.
: Address resistance by engaging stakeholders in open dialogue and highlighting success stories.
: Develop and maintain effective communication channels between teams, management, and external partners.
