[Mission of the Role]
As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for Requirement Engineering and Functional Safety Engineering, with a focus on Camera Perception Software.
In Requirement Engineering, you will elicit, analyze, and manage requirements, ensuring traceability from stakeholder needs to implementation. You will collaborate closely with external and internal stakeholders to define requirements that support software design and validation activities in alignment with ASPICE processes.
In Functional Safety Engineering, you will define and refine safety technical concepts, derive safety requirements, and design safety architectures and mechanisms. You will oversee the creation and management of safety engineering work products, ensuring they adhere to ISO 26262 standards and align with the functional safety lifecycle. You will also maintain and update safety requirements to support evolving project needs and ensure compliance with ASPICE processes.
This role emphasizes ADAS system engineering, integrating functional safety practices to deliver safe and reliable solutions.
[Key Responsibilities]
• Elicit, define, and manage stakeholder requirements to establish an agreed and traceable requirement. (SYS.1)
• Derive and specify software requirements from stakeholder requirements, ensuring completeness and compliance with ASPICE processes. (SWE.1)
• Design and maintain the software architecture to ensure consistency and bidirectional traceability with software requirements. (SWE.2)
• Ensure requirement quality and compliance with automotive standards, including ISO 26262
• Perform safety analyses, including support for FMEA and DFA activities, to identify risks and derive actionable safety requirements
• Refine and implement the Technical Safety Concept (TSC) based on customer-provided safety requirements and safety analysis results.
• Design safety mechanisms based on the provided TSC and derived safety requirements, ensuring alignment with ASIL-specific criteria.
• Lead the implementation and validation of safety mechanisms through diagnostic coverage analysis and fault injection testing, ensuring ISO 26262 compliance.
• Ensure that safety engineering work products, such as the Safety Plan, TSC, TSR, and validation reports, comply with ISO 26262 standards and meet quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE engineering processes.
