The Construction EHS Manager is responsible for managing construction safety activities for the APK Construction and PDO Korea teams. This role ensures that employees and contractors comply with Air Products’ EHS standards and applicable Korean regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. Safety is our highest priority and must never be compromised for schedule, cost, or production.

• Develop and implement project EHS plans and procedures. • Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. • Ensure timely corrective actions for identified safety risks. • Review and monitor contractor EHS plans and performance. • Manage safety orientations, training, work permits, and high-risk activities. • Lead incident investigations and injury prevention activities. • Ensure appropriate PPE use and maintain required EHS records. • Coordinate EHS activities with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors. • Support compliance with Air Products’ EHS requirements and Korean safety regulations. • Travel to and work at project sites in Korea or overseas as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or a related field. • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in construction safety for industrial gas, chemical, petrochemical, or plant projects. • Knowledge of construction safety, site management, and Korean EHS regulations. • Relevant certification, such as Engineer Construction Safety or Engineer Industrial Safety. • Strong communication, leadership, and contractor management skills. Business-level English or Chinese. • Willingness to work in field-based and remote project locations.

• Experience in industrial gas or plant construction projects. • Knowledge of civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, or instrumentation work. • Experience with major EPC companies or international engineering firms. • Experience in subcontractor and construction contract management.
